Yeah, during the last several weeks when I was trying out Open E-Cry out, their software was constantly freezing up on me. Luckily, I only had a very small amount with them during this test period, so I just closed my small account.

But don't forget to also factor in VERY frequent software order entry and charting freezes/lock-ups during the day, and a back office that continually places on your statements $3.00 - $5.00 of mysterious additional clearing, exchange, or broker fees per trade, and that ".99 cents per side"...

The MSFT website says that XP Pro has "Scalable processor support – up to two-way multi-processor support." Does this mean a system with a "dual-core" or a quad-pentium won't be able to run as fast if I use XP Home?

Oh, and I have no problem working with XP home or adding more memory DIMMS or PCI cards to my desptop, but beyond basic stuff like that, I'm not very tech savy at all.
