- $41 net. NQ . Down from the open and slowly crept up. I missed most of the move down and held on to a downside bias as it moved up. Had to power down for the day and missed the upside jump. I need to be focused at all times so I can catch the big moves.

- $25 NQ 3 rt. Missed the runup at the open! Tried timing a pullback when I logged on and had to close for the day soon after.

+ $55. 2 nq trades on the last hour of the day. I need to be more aggressive.

+ $120 . A nice change from a tough couple of weeks. Make money or keep trying until the bank forcloses on the house. :mad:

Any secrets to trading the open?

What is the study you have with the bars on the right side of the chart? What study do you use that shows the "Point of Control" and "Value Area High" values? Thanks.

This journal will log my gains/losses in the nasdaq futures. I am aiming to make $30k+ for the year. I might include options or other futures contracts if they happen. For now I am most comfortable with the NQ.

I am late for everything in life but when it comes to trading I am always early on the exit.

You need one of these: Cisco ASA5505 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/prod_models_comparison.html You may need tech to set it up. I've read a little of the configuration guide and it seems straightforward enough.
