this is along the same lines...so I thought I would throw it in. How does shorting a stock work? The whole borrowing and paying interest thing has me confused. Doesn't seem as simple as futures, or is it?

The last three days have been BS, and I wouldnt be surprised to see 975 before the day is out on the SP. They are just doing the rollover/ option expiration dance. The market is an illusion.

Chicago has the money and weight to lobby the right people. I'm sure they have enough forsight to be all over this. If not, they are just screwing themselves.

Trendlines and a stop loss is the best technique I ever used....go figure.

Anyone talked to a broke-r about these guys? They say everything is 'free', but I think that means high commissions. Somebody help me out here, so I don't have to go through the sells pitch from a broke-r. :D
