    IS THIS PERFORMANCE REPORT BOGUS...

Yes, one system can be traded anywhere. Currently running on the daily charts of 59 Futures and Commodities. Also running intraday as well. The daily charts are automated the rest are traded manually.

    IS THIS PERFORMANCE REPORT BOGUS...

Thanks, just stubborn. Strictly objective technical analysis. All rules based. I use only constant volume bars except on Daily Charts, because each bar is weighted equally. It really is simple. Learn to read a well constructed naked chart. Every chart I can post will be "pretty" for a reason. My...

    IS THIS PERFORMANCE REPORT BOGUS...

I just create the algorithms, I can't program my way out of a wet paper bag. 1. My programmer has the software. 2. N/A 3. One single system developed, beat up severely and finally validated over the last 30 years.

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

No, it's just a naked price chart. Daily bars, labeled tops and bottoms are taken directly from the price bars using an objective 3 bar process. Background color is taken from each of the price bar's high and low, bar-by-bar. Zero calculated indicators on the chart. The slower the chart the more...

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

Yes and here is my answer to that. Those two decision points ("N" & "p) you mentioned were in the dead middle of consolidation. When a breakout occurs and it will, it could have easily gone back up to challenge that "N" or "p" price area. To confirm that won't happen, wait until momentum shifts...

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

I see what you were looking at but the massive consolidation which began on March 19th kept me out until April 25th. That is where I shorted the open. I reacted to the chart and it kept me out for nearly 5 weeks of heartburn. My philosophy . . . react don't predict.

    IS THIS PERFORMANCE REPORT BOGUS...

Here are basket results traded over the last 2 years across over 55 instruments and asset classes with a $500K account trading a single contract for each instrument. And it is currently running live. Analyzed by Ninja's portfolio manager. This strategy has been active for 5 years and tested...

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

I don't call any trade in advance. Predicting ANYTHING in the markets is foolish and unnecessary. Reacting is so much more productive and profitable. I read and react to what is happening on the specific chart traded in real time. I agree with reading cycles but EW doesn't give you that ability...

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

Regardless of whether you are trading manually or in automation, the goal is always, "big winners, small loses and consistent profits. If your goals are different, that is all you. No one like losses. If you can objectively create your charts so your decision points are all deadly consistent...

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

Support and Resistance are objective points in my world. I can objectively define every resistance top and support bottom in a 3 bar process, in real time. EVERY ONE, which are unique to each chart independently. That is why I can program decision points, entries, exits and stops with zero issues.

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

You can't objectively program Elliot wave. There is a reason. There is nothing objective about it. Each wave is precisely unique and can't be documented preciously to program it. You CAN'T PROGRAM ART! Common Sense - You can objectively build a a house if all of the blocks are uniform. If all of...

Looking at what you posted, no one could find anything consistent in that mess.

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

We traders with over 30 years experience use them quite well. The difference is we know how to objectively define them inside of our trading environments.

POLL: Elliott Wave vs Support & Resistance (which is better?)

I can react to swing trading environments just like any chart. It just has to be constructed correctly. Here is what reacting to a simple daily gold chart accomplished since the beginning of March, per contract and the overnight margin for gold is US$8500.
