I trade DAX and would be interested to know what experience other traders have in getting fills better than their specified limit price is. I dont recall ever being filled at anything other than my limit. Any input much appreciated.

yep ES prior to the floor opening can be good. there is less chop. Actually the ES should have a health warning for ES traders during pit hours. Pit traders will try and take your money by constanltly causing false chart signals, mainly breakouts. hard stops will be near the most adverse price...

Hi I thought I would just give my 2c on this while SPM8 makes its mind up. Hard stop losses are a con as far as i am concerned . they dont do what it says on the tin, they dont stop loss. Maybe they will contain it or conversely get u out at a worse price than u could manage yourself...
