hi spanish mate hope your well? the only way to catch moves like this is that you are never going to catch the whole move all you can do really is buy dow move your stop to break even as quickly as possible then ride the move either close out quick or move the stop loss up as much as you see fit...

uys i have been trading the feb contract all day and it never jumped for me it is still rolling normally and is now worth 35 dollars at close it never went to 40's the contract finishes tomorrow so i dont know what ye are talking about i was using financialspreads.com so what has happened?

true, so you think there is a discrepency in the contracts that needs to be closed before the contract expires? so long them jan contract and short the feb?

but its jan that expires not feb, i dont have that on my accounts if you buy the jan futures now it will expire at 9.15 and if your in a loss then i sure you will have to take it they wont roll it or if they do they might charge you the difference to move it onto the feb contract, really not...
