I wish you luck, because you need to be 85% accurate just to break even.... so you must win 17 of 20 trading days to be even, 18 of 20 to turn a dime in profit. Even if you succeed at 90%, you still only make 7 points total for the month, minus any commissions.

I'm sorry, but why would anyone want to start trading during Christmas week?... or New Years week... or any other holiday week for that matter. Volume is light to begin with, direction seems to be purely at a few "big" traders whims, and every "system" seems to fail miserably during these times...

The only real difference in the december and march contract is that the december will track more closely and closer to the actual S&P. Just make sure your trading the same thing your charting! (if like me you use one system for charting and a different one to trade.)

An investment that generates over a million a year in profit is worth over a million x 3. That's pretty much the standard when assessing an investments value. Recover your investment in 3 years and then reap the profits. I'm fairly sure that no one would pay 3 million for any stock trading...

5 months was all the backtesting data I have stored, as several times the data cache has gotten corrupted and had to be deleted. I try to keep an up to date backup, but always seem to be behind when I need it. I'd like to get more ES tick data if anyone has it.
