He meant bend over alert Har Har.
Seriously, you don't know what rollover is? Isn't this a futures journal? June ES rollover is tomorrow, volume will be declining into expiration next Fri.
Nevermind: You've been here since 04....you trollin :)
Sure thing man. Yes, it's problematic if you want to do stocks and account is < 25K. You could trade 1-2 contracts of ES with 10K (or 1 with 6K) but the moves are going to be bigger than with stocks. I had a friend who had a small account ($5K) and he did alright daytrading (actually...
Congrats on your results and your excitement about trading. I have zero experience with the sim you are using but ...
Paper trading does not simulate the most important element...your emotions once you are in real trades. Luckily most people don't emotionally discern between small and bigger...
I'll take one off if we hit 62 again. But it's a swing trade so I'm looking for at least 100 points. So if I'm wrong, at least the risk reward was decent. I'd prefer 1420 before 1262 though :)
Yeah, oversold and overbot are pretty useless...I just view it like an elastic band....things get stretched too far, they usually snap back a bit. I figure 50ish ES points in a day and a half is overkill
I'm trying to get Interactive brokers to email me a monthly statement automatically that is encrypted. In the account management settings, it is greyed out and the help page says to call IB sales to set it up. I called customer support and sales and no one has ever heard of this. They're all...
Is this a serious question? Obviously tradestation would be better (and I don't like TS). Etrade? Does anyone trade futures with Etrade? Why don't you just daytrade your IRA with Scottrade, makes about as much sense.
I'd be very interested in this too. Only anecdotal info i can offer is my friend has a macbook and a macbook pro (the macbook is a ccfl screen) and they couldn't tell a difference except the quality on the pro's screen being better.
I've heard that ccfl is toward the blue (cool white) end of...
I got back to you, just click on forums at the top and it'll tell you you have a new message. Or go to "your account" in top right and one of the first options on the far right is view all pms
Haha, here come the jokers.
I've used meetup in the past, I met a couple of good trading buddies on it. Unfortunately most of the people on there are get rich types who migrated from some real estate scheme to an investing scheme. At least on ET I am narrowing it down to trading only schemers.
