thanks. The next thing u know, we'll be accused of being "in cahoots/collaborators", even though (as my guess is) we probably come from different continents. Almost seems like us new members must choose to "remain quiet" (ie, "do not rock the boat") here, or we are immediately suspect.

so how do fills work with IB then? i mean in terms of filling notification, system-wise. Do u always assume that u are not filled until u get a notification? Or do u always assume it's a fill until u get a "Rejected" message?? And if ur order is rejected for whatever reason, is this notification...

so if i read it correctly, Tripack, u're not using the API now, and in ur own words, u lack the java expertise now as well. If that is the case, may i ask then, how are u automating ur system right now?
