Hey guys. I studied stocks for a while and I know that they have a opening price and closing price If you watch a stock in real time the "opening price" may go down the tape right at 930 or it may take 20-30 seconds maybe a while... But once this opening price is traded trading begins...

Wrong. You are biding 700 shares at exactly [50.00] not 200shares (300 got filled). You will "get filled" if nobody bids higher true, but note you are standing in line at exactly 50 no matter what happens (700 shares BID at 50.00) #1- You get filled on 300 shares at exactly 50. and now are...

Great thread. I watch spy. There are always 20-30k blocks on each side. At market extremes not much Trading occurs at exact lows ect. I agree with the point. usually levels break and the market will fly if a level breaks. Prices stay true if you know what your looking at

Does anyone have the opening print and volume? I saw 160+million shares traded BEFORE the opening print at around 42. I am unsure exactly how many shares traded the first minute and what the open volume really was. What was the opening price and volume?
