How does futures day-trade margin work? I mean I see $500 for ES. So if I open account with $2000, then I can buy 4 contracts? The question is: How long can I hold 4 contracts without margin call? ie.: if account Equity goes to $1900 I can still have 4 contracts open? What if account equity goes...

I will be taking the exam. It just seemed weird because I read that this test was for CBOE options traders and I just want trade stocks not options. Anyway, where is the test held at? CBOE?

I want to trade stocks. The problem is you cannot make more then 3 trades in 5 days? What is the definition of a trade thou. A round turn? If I buy 100 shares then 5 minutes later another 100.( Is it 2 trades already? ) Then I close half, (100 shares) and 5 minutes later close out the remaining...
