Yeah, I have been trading in Arizona full time since 2001. I relocated to North Phoenix three years ago, and really like it. Not many traders, left in these markets... so, don't meet many around here. Ok, back to the grind -- I mean heat --- well actually USA vs Germany match! ;)

funny as I am thinking the same, lately. it has been nearly 2.5 years since I stopped watching CNBC, and just this month i put on the TV and CNBC. unreal, how pathetic it is to have to listen to Crammer especially in the morning... just vote with your remote!

Just a quick correction, it was my error today having issues with IQfeed and grabbing 1 minute historical intra-day data (had issue with our code. basically we did not handle correct our history if a stock was not longer trading on NYSE, or NSDQ.) I sent an email and had my programmer follow up...

Funny I could not download pre-market any historical intraday data today with IQfeed, and I got the email stating my price hike for 2012. Strange how that works ! ! !

I can't remember WHO talked about it (Tharp etc) but what is your dominate sensory mode? Most chart traders (setup) see the setup, look at the confirmations then take the trade. YOU can't interrupt that sequence with the THINKING part (what if the market is too extended etc) and hesitate...

YES, I agree with you but also keep in mind the condition in late 2008. IMO, the banking system was about to completely break, so moving money from my banks, into land/home was done to protect. now, i see them as depreciating instruments, that served a purpose. hence, time to act. at times...

true, but from some of the stories i have heard there were many ways to reduce your overall earnings, hence making actual rates inline more with today's top income rates. so the pure 75% figure is somewhat misleading...
