    Traders in Arizona

Yeah, I have been trading in Arizona full time since 2001. I relocated to North Phoenix three years ago, and really like it. Not many traders, left in these markets... so, don't meet many around here. Ok, back to the grind -- I mean heat --- well actually USA vs Germany match! ;)

    CNBC and Jim Cramer

funny as I am thinking the same, lately. it has been nearly 2.5 years since I stopped watching CNBC, and just this month i put on the TV and CNBC. unreal, how pathetic it is to have to listen to Crammer especially in the morning... just vote with your remote!

    Yoda as a trader

Haha ... Two of my bots are R2 and Yoda, and from my experience R2 rocks. R2 has made 90% of my profits since 2001. However, I do got a new bot going -- Storm Trooper, and so far he is looking good. My Darth(fader) no longer is in play, so maybe I should finally have the ceremony for Darth's...

    eSignal vs IQ Feed

Just a quick correction, it was my error today having issues with IQfeed and grabbing 1 minute historical intra-day data (had issue with our code. basically we did not handle correct our history if a stock was not longer trading on NYSE, or NSDQ.) I sent an email and had my programmer follow up...

    eSignal vs IQ Feed

Funny I could not download pre-market any historical intraday data today with IQfeed, and I got the email stating my price hike for 2012. Strange how that works ! ! !

    Keeping Records

I can't remember WHO talked about it (Tharp etc) but what is your dominate sensory mode? Most chart traders (setup) see the setup, look at the confirmations then take the trade. YOU can't interrupt that sequence with the THINKING part (what if the market is too extended etc) and hesitate...

Is owning a home mostly a bad thing?

YES, I agree with you but also keep in mind the condition in late 2008. IMO, the banking system was about to completely break, so moving money from my banks, into land/home was done to protect. now, i see them as depreciating instruments, that served a purpose. hence, time to act. at times...

Is owning a home mostly a bad thing?

very interesting, thread and point - nitro. i've sold my second home, already a few years ago at no loss, and honestly am looking to put my current home on the market in the next couple weeks. there are many arguments for and against, but for me there are two points impacting me, today. the...

been at this game full time since 2000, and you never stop learning, improving and adapting. i've been reading, printing, reviewing and thinking about all the comments and perspectives talon, mike and a few others have been sharing since late 2009. some real darn good lessons. thanks!

    ObamaCare is Bad, Bad, Bad

watched The Art of the Steal (2009) last night - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1326733/ and, the sad truth is our politicians and deep pockets trump personal liberties, more so today ... with no end in sight. great documentary, to see how, once again our individual rights are being taken away~

The Taxes Are Coming, The Taxes Are Coming

true, but from some of the stories i have heard there were many ways to reduce your overall earnings, hence making actual rates inline more with today's top income rates. so the pure 75% figure is somewhat misleading...
