currently 2nd and 1st are in backwardation, so would you recommend to buy it now? look here: http://vixcentral.com however: when you look at the chart of the vix futures of the last few months you see, that the roll yield is very high, that means you have to sell the cheaper contract and buy...

Can somebody please educate me on where US Debt comes from?

The real world implication gets bad, when the productivity growth is lower than the interests, which needs to be paid. Look debt service is in most industrial countries, the seconds or 3rd largest budget position, in the current fiscal year us paid 423 Billions on interests alone...

Can somebody please educate me on where US Debt comes from?

You are right currently USA has about 19 Trillion debts mostly (about 13 Trillions) are domestic debts, that means investors, hedge funds and retail investors buy the treasuries. China holds 1,3 Trillions and Japan 1,1 Trillions, and 3,8 Billions other countries like (Arabs, Europe, etc). You...

I Win 100% Of My Trades- Expectancy.

Just for fun, you also have a 100% expectancy when your first trade is 90% loss and your second a 190% winner, do you want to guess what your balance looks like. Some martingale systems work great, until you are killed of course, then they don't.

    Looking for bonds

Is IB save? Generally the questions is answered above BUT what about some crazy sanctions against Russians in the future. You never know. So even with brokers you might consider diversification, maybe an Asian or European broker, but I can't give any advice on that but consider your risk.

    Practicalities of Option Greeks

Go one step back, the Greeks are derived from the Black-Scholes formula to calculate a fair value of an Option. That means every time a Greeks changes the price of the option also changes. when comming to practicalities for beginners, consider vega, delta and gamma. Vega tells you how much the...

    Looking for bonds

We are currently in very troubled water: very strong gains in almost every instruments for the last few years, prices for houses are much higher than before 2008, interest as low as the can be, national debts are about 100% of GDB for almost all western countries. I don't see any save heaven...

    easiest way to back test

The tool/language to do a quick back test is your smallest problem, the theory you need to know is a much bigger dragon.

    Looking for bonds

Bonds are not really save. What will happen, when the interests go up by 1 %? Your bond will go down. Bonds are not a save haven in a very low interest phase.

    Where to get Systems

One more thing to consider: What are the big players, e.g. Hedgefonds are doing, this give you also an idea, what to look for. You will not find a system, but still its funny to see, that there are fonds investing all the eggs in one basket. Others invest most of the money in 3-5 Instruments. I...
