I have a list of about 15 sectors that I watch, each with 5 or so stocks in them. I keep an eye on % change for the day, and trade the stocks in the sectors that are up or down the most.

I used to trade with a guy who consistently did over 1mm shares a day. He traded QQQ (now QQQQ) and SPY, and would usually build into a core position of around 100K shares in the Qs and 25k in the SPYs, which he would then trade around.

You only pay tax on your income. In this case $500.

Anyone have any advice on good routers? D-link vs Linksys? Do you sacrifice much speed by going wireless?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by basic US data for free? I am a professional, and from the website, it looked like just getting level 1 for NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ would be over $200 a month.

I thought they charged a fee if you didnt trade enough volume? Also, don't they charge for all the quote feeds?

I want a second broker to execute small trades. I dont need any frills, but would like one with a per share pricing structure, and few (if any) exchange fees, software fees, etc. Any Ideas?
