A trading edge is the easiest thing?

It was an example Mr know it all. I trade rds.a frequently and I watch for currency risk. Same as when I trade bhp I watch Aussie dollar. Do you feel smart for attacking a generalized statement. Trader almighty knows what currency risk is, lol.

    Russell Reconstitution

If you mean for imbalances or gaps.....Nasdaq imbalances work but only flash for a second so you will need to write software that captures them when they flash. They are litterally posted for 1 or 2 seconds. As far as gaps I just put LOC orders in. Good Luck today

A trading edge is the easiest thing?

If I have Bloomberberg, Dow Jones and Trade the News and you have yahoo for news, THATS AN EDGE. If I have software that keeps bids and offers above and below the market for 1000 stocks with one single mouse click and you enter your orders one at a time manually,THATS AN EDGE. Russell Reconstitution

Russell Reconstitution = Free Money Its getting tamer but still lots to be made. My opinion is the index funds that track the Russell try to buy and sell as close to this day as possible to minimize tracking error. However there are the stocks that are illiquid that may have a lot of shares...

A trading edge is the easiest thing?

Yes every trade is new and unique, but set ups reoccur daily. Similar situations occur everyday and the details change. A trader blows his account out because he doesnt have a valid blowout point. I dont see the value in your post. If you are a trader that shoots from the hip and piles on a...

A trading edge is the easiest thing?

If you have a blowout point and stick to it, the market cant get into your head. Youre just trading the number.

A trading edge is the easiest thing?

Connect the dots, and you will realzie a real edge is the most important thing, and a lot rarer than people imagine [/B] This is true. I would add that the disciplines of planning and executions are vital as well. When I started trading I sat next to a very successful trader (a few million...

Not true. As a day trader your biggest edge is maneuverability. You are able to get in and out and in, unlike the big boys. Look for strategies that you can use this edge.
