I found stocks reporting earnings to be too volatile for me ... I just ended up sticking with a basket of heavily traded stocks and ETFs ... mainly just the big names

I was experiencing that today ... a lot of jumpy movements on some of the ETFs and banking stocks I follow.

I was mad that I couldn't day trade properly without $25,000, but working my way up to that allowed me to learn under smaller position sizes. It took me awhile to build my account size up, but in tha.t time, I was able to learn a lot about the markets So maybe it's not the worst thing in the world.

Yes, I've always thought that psychology should be part of the edge, not separate. And maybe posting on ET isn't all about giving advice, it can be about finding others who are like you, as well as others who are not like you, and using that to your benefit.
