You are absolutley right...and I see it every night when I am standing duty over a shift or "watch" change...they yank it this way and that and forex can run against you in the blink of an eye...for no (apparent) reason... They do it every day and all week long. Once you get used to it...

I use Black Flag Forex and Market Vane among others... Black Flag has a retail product called FxMoneyTrends... I strongly recommend that as a start... Samples? Before I signed on with them I requested 3 months of all diseminations they had sent out...every daily and every weekly...

Its not easy...and its frought with peril... My point is to seek out institutional advisory services and not just one. Pay the money. If you don't you will lose what you have twice as fast. Apply your own understanding to swing trading with what the advisory information your getting...

Take a look at this... the first link is an image of the June Suisse Franc contracts... the second is the forex data... Notice three things about the first chart compared to the second chart... First we rolled out of March contracts on the second thursday of the month...and the data...

No and Yes... It does not come back to the same thing when the Dollar is the numerator of the pair... Euro is EURUSD...and the Euro is worth more than 1 dollar...so...the euro contract is roughly the same as the pair or cross rate... However... The Yen is USDYEN...and the Yen is...

All or nothing... Open an account with Interactive Brokers and you can trade it all...Forex, Capital and derivitives.. Whatever floats your boat... If your an elliot wave trader, and swing in and out with trades ebbing and flowing a position over weeks and maybe months...

It doesn't work like that...or not entirely... The one thing that is critically important to understand is that contracts are derivitives of the currency...and not a derivitive of the "Pair". This is super critical to understand because if you want go long the USDJPY pair, you need to...

I am looking for an electronic clearing broker that carrys USDX contracts. My current broker is IB...and I have no intentions of no longer using them. However...they do not carry USDX via NYBOT's agreement with CBOT... Can anyone point to a source where I can trade these contracts...

I can understand why there would be no uranium futures contracts.... Am I missing somthing...a search of the internet yields references to uranium contracts...but never anything substanative... Any help appreciated... Scott
