Oil is not very friendly today

I don't trade triangles anymore either. Maybe on daily charts if I were longer-termed-- but day trading those candle patterns seem to perfect the whipsaw trades.

I don't think that moves that simply create more open interest is driving the spread. I'm sure there are many reasons, but I'm still not sold on the internals of speculator positions causing any kind of upward pressure. After all, it is futures trading right? Based off the spot price...

I had same problem with thinkorswim and was already in March Crude.

Maybe people think that way....... because it's human nature! People have a desire and need to be optimistic, look at the market rebound since earlier this year, despite the fact that are economy is not necessarily healthier and now carries a higher debt load. Nothing to look into that much...
