Yeah it is TOS. I have no problem doing them, just curious about making sure I am choosing the best spreads. Don’t want to get something I can sell.

I guess it probably doesn’t really matter since they are technically individual buy and sell legs, I am just buying as a vertical spread.

What I meant you can see in this pic. It shows 49/49.5 and 49.5/50. I know I can choose what I want but if instead of choosing 49/49.5 or 49.5/50, I do a 49/50, would that make it harder to sell since it’s not a standard option listed?

Does it make it harder to buy and sell a vertical spread that is not listed as a pair? Example: Stock XYZ shows 56/57 and 57/58 strikes on the option chain. If I actually buy a 56/58 vertical spread does that make it harder to buy and more importantly, sell because I did not pick a standard...

Thanks for the information everyone. I figured it out. I was comparing spreads to single calls. When I changed to single calls it all lines up. I’m a noob so stupid error on my part. Thanks for your time.

Thanks so how does that explain the huge discrepancy between the two? Shouldn’t they both get the same end of day values?

When looking at a vertical spread on Tastyworks it showed huge open interest. I then looked at the exact same option on Thinkorswim and it showed very little open interest. Why would that be? Is that measurement specific to the trading platform? All platforms are buying from the same available...

Pardon my ignorance, still learning. Just want to clarify. If I buy a vertical call option with a 1/8/21 expiration, I assume I have until 4p EST to close that option? It doesnt automatically execute at OPENING of day on 1/8 correct? Thanks
