I appreciate you posting your insight, Dr. Chen, and look forward to future posts. You wouldn't happen to sideline as a politician, would you? If not, I think you may be missing your true calling. :)

Nasdaq down to 2238. I think we have more downside. All stocks from yesterday met the entry parameters as follows: USNA @45.04 BDK @79.48 CEDC @23.62 FAST @38.69 LOW @28.22 CLC did not meet entry requirements. <table style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt;" border="0"...

Ok, I'm back testing some new parameters. But I won't get my hopes up this time. Nasdaq last closed at 2158. Still of the opinion this area is a top, although it has been stronger than I had anticipated. <table style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt;" border="0" cellspacing="0"...

NASDAQ closed down 15 at 2238. I think it is important to close the week below the 2240 level to validate the scenario that a top is in place. I am having the worst results with my trading ideas. 3 ups (RMD, DRIV and FRED) vs. 8 downs (JCOM, GPRO, MDRX, GVA, QLTI, WYNN, BA, NSS)...

Nice day for the longs with the NASDAQ up 31 closing at 2253. It hovered above 2250 most of the day. I am still taking the opinion that 2250 is a good level to short from. From yesterdays list, JCOM was shorted at 25.36. I lowered RMD stop to 40.62

    NASDAQ down 13 to 2222. Selling starting to intensify. I think good resistance is at 2230, and solid resistance is at 2250. <table style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt;" border="0" cellspacing="0" width="400"> <tbody><tr> <td colspan="8"><b>Trade Ideas for Wed</b></td>...

I had zero stocks returned from my screen for either long or short. BW was returned as a long under more relaxed volatility and volume parameters, but I won't be following it other than curiosity. I am still looking for ways to improve, but still keep things simple. I decided to implement a...

    Trade of the Day

Worst trade, I lost 40% shorting NSS after it gapped up Monday. Had a nice 3.5% run in ATRS over last 2 days. Still holding out for around 24

I think the NASDAQ has further room to move up, possibly to around 2225. Support could be as low as 2200. FRED (+5.2%) hit its target today. ROK, DRIV and QLTI met their entry prices. BA and WYNN are still open. Closed: FRED +5.2% CHIC -1.9% NSS -40% <table style="font-family...

Good day for the NASDAQ. Terrible day for me. In fact, possibly the worst day I have ever had. NSS gapped open higher and I lost about 40% on the trade. Anyways, I think today's market action is encouraging for more gains. I still think NASDAQ 2250 is a good goal. Trade Idea Results...

What is the worst one day loss you ever had?

I just lost 2K today which is alot for my $10,000 account. I had NSS short and this morning it gapped up like 40% on news of a buyout. It sucks, partly because of the money, but also because I can't imagine what I could have done to avoid this.

NASDAQ closed back up to 2166. I think this level is an opportunity for the market to move up from here. As of Friday, I am going to start clean with monitoring the stocks I list. I was not happy with how I was doing before, and I changed some things, and I want to see if the results...
