BAC won't go down. They took on a lot with the acquisition of Countrywide, but they have a strong foundation.

Why post this now? MANY stocks have hit their all-time lows lately given the current market volatility and huge record breaking swings. It's hardly a fair comparison to post something like this two years after the original discussion.

I fail to see how they've lost any market cap. Their stock has been trading in the same range for basically the last decade... usually between $24-28. Most of their products and business units are currently excelling.

DJIA is similar... 1200 pts (used to be 400) or 10% and it's 1hour. 20% and it's 2hours. 3600pts and trading is closed for the day. There are some stipulations on when the drops occur, except for the last one, in which case no matter when it occurs, the market still closes for the day.
