I wouldn’t limit this to data from IB. IMHO sanity checks should be an integral part of an ATS, at the very minum for all incoming and outgoing data. Ideally on all levels, including strategy and portfolio management.

Apple's silicon is such a game changer. I bought an iMac just because of it. It's faster than my Dell Precision and makes no noise at all. It's completely silent, because it has no fans. I haven't had so much fun with a computer since I got a Sun Ultra workstation decades ago.
