The powers that be are prepared to bury the system. Imagine millions of credit card holders not paying or being able to pay. That is what the bankers believe will happen. So charge em up. Light up those credit cards. If you don't have a lot of assets you don't have much to loose.

Who knows but if/when GM separates into two companies -----it may do a Ford. Like Ford ---GM has all kinds of juicy assets. So does Chrysler by the way. These legacy patents/assets are quite valuable. Ford is looking like it will survive without taxpayer help! :D
