The symbol itself was not the confusing part. What I was getting at was that there was two duplicate strike prices. 50 50 55 55 etc... each with dif symbol and premium. Finally found out that it may be do to a stock split. dunno for sure. I am to much a rookie to options...

I run redundant systems.. Esignal is my main platform, TS for redundant backup if Esignal fails. Two totally different data feeds on two totally different computers. Only the screens (5) are shared... with two clicks on my keyboard, the other system is displayed on the screens.

Perhaps you should consider a redundant charting program for backup. This may help you minimize your losses in the future... Backup computers, powersources, etc. are also very useful on the rare occasions that they are needed. Good Luck!

Up and running... all normal now... thanks... Down time on esignal is much less than other charting programs I have used. I can live with 1 or 2 times a year... vs: 3-4 times a month (TS). Cheers

well if earnings season disappoints which is on jan, apr, july and oct then those are the months that are going to be difficult going long in the market and especially dangerous.... Then hopefully, you have a strategy that tells you to go short.. thus... not so difficult a month... :)...
