This is not correct. A moving average is based on the average of the last XXX number of bars, NOT the last bar, so a moving average will move after the last bar closes. Your math, sir, is incorrect. Moving averages repaint, period. The only indicators that will not by definition repaint are...

So what? Most signals do repaint. Moving averages repaint. VWAP bands repaint. Most things do.

Why does everyone assume that everyone else is a swing trader that holds for weeks? How about cycles for the day trader? There are a lot more of us!
