yeah if I had my way I would much prefer to do this in a warm weather city on in the Pacific time zone with a lower cost of living (Vegas or Phoenix) be sweet to be able to jump in the pool during lunch. wife likes being near her family in NYC so I guess I am stuck here,,,,

I will probably eventually look into taking space. I am very concerned about the junk-food, although their was plenty at my old office as well. In some ways being able to make a quick healthy lunch like eggs or chicken on the George Forman is good for me

thats a good idea Don. I presently use the Lightspeed squack box which I like very much if I end up switching front ends then I will look into other options. BTW what i find is interesting is that my Lightspeed works much better at home then it did at the office, I guess they did not have...

yes I am concentrating better at home then I was at my office. Without going into too much detail their were some negative dynamics in my old office. I think a good office is better than trading alone, but its better to be alone then to be in a bad office environment...

so far I like it trading wise, I seem to not be somewhat clearer than when I am not dealing with other people. I appreciate the input. I do need to watch what I eat and find some other outlets. I am hoping to schedule a non trading activity during lunch that will get me out of the house.

I changed firms and the firm I went to had no office near my house.

I have been a prop trader for many years, and have always been in an office with other traders. I am now trading remote from home and am trying to adjust. Besides making sure to get out of the house every day for a few hours, does anyone have any tips for trading at home?
