I was wondering if you know how to bring up a simple high/low ticker (stocks making new daily highs and lows) on ToS. StreetSmart edge has one but the people at Schwab couldn't tell me how to create one on ToS (or even if it has one).

REKR will show up in the ticker alert if you program it in as a symbol. It will not show up as just making a new high or low without adding it as a symbol. If you watch the new highs and lows in the ticker alert you will not see a tier SM stock cross.

It is a designation in the market maker box (trading window) in the lightspeed system. The tiers show up as NY, N, AM, and SM.

You will not see Tier SM stocks do not pop up on the ticker alert. This means you miss out on a significant number of stocks that require trader liquidity. Other systems do not have this flaw. I obviously know the difference between theory and practice. I know there are traders and there are managers. A trader would understand exactly what I was talking about. A manager might not and a blogger certainly would not. Try trading more and posting less.

You can watch the new highs and lows all day long and you won't see a Tier SM stock cross. At any point in time some of these stocks should be hitting highs or lows and showing up on the ticker alert. They just don't. Try for yourself.

Has anyone noticed lightspeed software misses Tier SM stocks making new highs or new lows in the Ticker alert when you program the ticker alert for highs and lows? This seems to put the system at a disadvantage since you miss a whole group of stocks breaking out or breaking down.
