You are correct rc415. The trades were real and most were quite profitable. Sadly, keeping traders focused solely on trading and new/improved trading ideas became a real challenge for the room. Overall, it was an excellent experience and a real pity it shut down.

Perhaps the lack of information has more to do with the impending closure of the cbot.com website on Feb. 2nd when cme.com and cbot.com will merge into one large, useless site called cmegroup.com.
Additionally, the CME crowd are known for being much less open and user friendly than the CBOT.

I have my own reasons for being pissed at Open Ecry, execution being the least of them. If you want a solid platform with very nice features try Transact and their AT platform - it is a thing of beauty. Alternately, Infinity Futures are fairly good and they use Transact's AT too.
Copernicus can you explain why this stock is stalled around $82 when the agreed takeover price is $90? Isn't there 8 bucks free money just laying there?
