You talked about doing a full at 10K but I would wait since 4 percent drawdown on 1 contract could happen in a heartbeat at that level. $400 or 8 ES points, 32 ticks adds up fast. To be quite honest I think 50K is the realistic number to trade futures for most; otherwise the scared money...

Two weeks ago I was able to use 8 tick stops confidently but now I am using 200 easily just to withstand the volatility with a core position. Steve are you still using 40 tick stops? You have good entries if you can with this huge ranges.

Steve I admire your discipline it has been well earned and is taking you far in your goals.

I was so bearish today and still lost money that's how bad the whipsaw was. Ironically if I just held and followed my edge I would have well. Psychology for discretionary traders is almost everything.
