Depends on time frame - if you use a 15 min Dow chart and bought bought it when RSI went form under 30 to over 30 and sold over 70 you would not have to look at a price chart or support / resistance.

Well it will take a fee days for some to get data again - like with IB you need to now subscribe to ICE and the old symbol was ER2 and now it is RUT - so it is understandable that on the change day there was less trading on it at the moment the Sept is 714 and Dec 713 - rather large spread

No there is nothing wrong with the stock or the certificate it is just the E*Trade delay -- it took them a month to open the account and weeks to then set it to global trading - the people you speak with say there is like a firewall between them and the people who do the work and they cannot...

I have had an IB account for years and like it but they do not allow you to deposit stock certificates so after checking many brokers I opened an E*Trade account. I sent one stock certificate at first to test - it will be 8 weeks ago on Thursday -- it shows in my account but it cannot be traded...

I have no idea what a 4 hour chart is or why one wants it is there an explanation somewhere? As someone mentioned - try Quotetracker -- it is tons better than IB charts ans uses their feed quotetracker.com

4 decimal places were started Dec 13 as I thanked them on the IB board after requesting it on October 17. The problem was trading the low priced pennies as before we only had 3 decimal places and that sometimes forced you into 100% spreads - but since mid December we have had 4 decimals...
