I would like to point out that there are some really wise and deeply from experience observations posted in this thread!

For 45 days after depositing $2000 at TDA until December 31 2006, one has more or less UNLIMTED FREE TRADES, but I read it actually means 5000 trades max.

I just started playing FOREX and has managed to lose about $700 with minimal effort, and the other $1200 I have in my account for margin seems to little for leverage at 50/1 to make money, but more than sufficient to lose money OK. :confused:

Not very Elite are they, ie ShareBuilder?

TDAmeritrade is a pretty big player, or at least well advertised, so I am surprised it isn't more represented here. I was thinking about opening an ulimited trade 45 $2000 account.

Maybe I am too old and live and trade in the wrong place as I just lost $400 of a $1300 account on Oanda since last evening...the Yen was surprisingly strong, I forgot my stop loss setups
