Well I like HK much more than SIN. One of the best places I have seen in life. For your info, I am not living there. I get respect there doesnt matter if in office or on the street. There are nice places to stay in HK too. Dont worry.

I believe, Hong Kong is very hard to die. Coz there is still rule of law and free market. No customs regulations, very liberal financial markets and easy regulation. Plus low taxes. That makes big difference compare to Shanghai. It might create some kind of megapolis with Shenzen. Mainlanders...

Well actually I agree with no right to vote in national elections for all women and men without "proper" position in society. In local elections all should be allowed to vote. This my opinion, so dont kill me for this.:D

In HK your personal freedom is similar to the one in Europe. Dont want to compare it with US.

First move most of the assets overseas, in meantime get another citizenship, than get rid of US citizenship. My best tip for residency location would be HK, taxwise excellent and lifestyle suits me as well.

I think its Cash only. Broker is US based. Never traded Indian stocks. But from information I have we can access about 70 international markets. Including some really remote like Kenya, Botswana.
