Im not sure where you are finding a free Sterling platform. I suggest going through the details on the site you have provided and seeing the $250 fee charged for the platform.

10:1 leverage is a starting point so new traders don't explode themselves. Especially in these volatile markets. Experienced traders with proof of profitable consistent trading will start higher.
