Here is one: Theta around 60. Advancing one day theta becomes 61 and P/L is around $2. That's wrong. Advancing one more day theta is 64 and P/L is 62. That is right.

It seems that issue got fixed, but now P/L calculations look wrong. For example a calendar with Theta around 200 shows a P/L increase of only 15-20 when I advance one day. I tried several expiry combinations and it persists. After advancing several days though, Theta and P/L seem to get in sync.

This is with Interactive Brokers.

That's bad. I wonder whether you could at least use the TOS paper account without funding it. Or maybe fund it and do one trade per quarter or so.

Your son's trade is already over 1.5k in profit. However Apr 16 option chain shows there's only one 2500 put contract out there (his) and assume there was none when he opened. Wasn't this a concern?

Chef, there should be a way. You know the problem of the weatherman who keeps predicting how the weather will be to only be right 20% of the time. Well he just has to predict how the weather won't be and he'll be right 80% of the time.
