Cant fix column widths permanently with IB TWS stand-alone classic

I am using Mosaic and this bothers me so much. Everytime I launch the platform I have to resize the column width using "Auto-adjust colum width" (right click on the column). The worst part is that I have several IB accounts, and when I flip thorugh them using the dropdown menu in the Portfolio...

what is the LMT version? Your cash and assets are with IB LLC even if you have an “IB UK account”. Proof is that when you wire new money into the account you wire it to IB LLC, not IB UK

Yes but my whole point is that IB UK does not hold your cash…it is IB US. IB UK only acts as a facilitator to open your IB US account, assets (except metals and cfd) are held there. United Kingdom Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited is authorised and regulated...

Dear @def can we please receive an update on use of high grade EU govies as collateral for futures instead of cash? Thanks

IB UK accounts do not really "exist", your account is with IB US if you opened an account with IB UK and - I might be wrong - but I believe your deposits not covered by FCA. Different story if you have an account with IB EU.

I know, I am writing in very simple terms but they don't seem to understand. We clearly speak two different languages so I made it even more simple and wrote: "If I have on my account USD 10k in T-bills, No settled cash, and 1 ZN contract that requires a margin of USD 3k, do you charge me...

I replied that the information provided is not correct and someone else replied confirming that US T-Bills can be used as collateral (right..we know that), then I asked ok then what can I use for EUR futures? And she replied with the following: "It is not necessary to have EUR stocks as...

Haircut of Canadian treasury bills used as collateral

I took the liberty to ask the question to IB Customer Care, but as you can see below it was a waste of time, they don't even know this option is available for USD futures and T-Bills. "In an IBKR Universal account a security like a Stock, Bond or Treasury resting in the account's Securities...

Funny that if you type in TWS "Exchange Traded Australia", you get a list of Australian govies. If you type "Exchange Traded [Any other country]" you get no results. We need a tool that works consistently to find government bonds, now it is all hit and miss.

Euronext is not (or at least it was not) liquid at all. But MTS is and since Euronext bought Borsa Italiana (parent of MTS) now Euronext has a liquid venue (now callled MTS Markets) for govies. @def can you please clarify which EUR bonds available on TWS can be used as collateral since none on...

@def if the objective is trading electronically than MTS https://www.mtsmarkets.com/ of Euronext would be the best vanue. In the meanwhile it would be great if you could confirm the questions on the use of those bonds as collateral for futures margin (I guess this is not what you are checking...

If I search for DE Govt bonds with maturity within 1 year I get 9 bonds. None of them in the list. My interpretation of "These 67 should have been adjusted and most should provide margin and thus offer offset": - Not sure what "adjusted" means - "Most should provide margin": not all bonds in...

Let's take DE000BU0E063 from the list for example. If I type this ISIN in TWS I get no results. If I use the Bond Scanner and search for German Govt bonds with maturity <1 year this one does not show up. @def any thought? Also, any reason why DE0001104867 (German govt bond expiring in dec 23...
