I'm sim trading today (cause I suck at live trading :D ) and even though its laggy and maybe slightly delayed (a tenth or two of a second) compared to my live account, its moving like crazy. Is it really moving around like this on live?

Honestly, we wouldn't be discussing this 'if' the market kept going down. Funny thing is, I do pay attention to your comments and I even went long three times on the run up, unfortunately got stopped out on two of them (short stops will do that). I just find it funny when someone says...

No offense but that's ridiculous, 'if you had went long.....'. 'If' someone went short the open till 9:45, 'if' someone had gone long at 9:45 until 10:45, etc... Looking back at a chart after the fact makes it so clear that 'if' you had done this or if you had done that. I mean no...

I'm sure a ton of people bought the open at 1193+- with no stop and made a killing by 4pm. Amazing how the longs always win! Now if I could only bring myself to put my stops out 6-8 pts, I could be making a killing too. :)

Did anyone else's trading software start blanking out during that crazy two minutes of down 5/up 5? I haven't seen that type of activity in a long time, if ever (I haven't been trading for that long either though).

I'm confused, I thought the gap is created and closed by the cash market, not the futures?

it was 7.5 but I got out at 7.75 when I saw the train coming.

Now why would I do that, that makes too much sense! :p I've tried buying low and it goes lower, I've tried selling hi and it goes higher. :confused:
