Interesting to see the 'YTD' rankings (must be a newer feature) Does the laggards show the YTD? Do you see MAX on there at all?

I have a few screenshots from a couple years ago when I used Velocity. There were a couple big swinging dicks on there, with 6 figure PnL fluctuations. My guess is they were a CTA though. "MAX" has some big days (up and down), to the tune of 500k. It was interesting to see the correlation...

Good post Nitro... Interesting that you mention the story about GETCO (which is well substantiated btw). The trade, fwiw, was based on the quarterly roll. If I recall the story correctly, it was within a very short time frame (4 times a year).

ET needs to think of itself as an island whereby you receive enough "dislikes" you are kicked off. I guess have just have the ignore feature to work with for now....

The non-member rate structure is certainly a barrier to executing a profitable intra-day spreading strategy (automated or not). However.......it's a great strategy if the barriers to entry can be surpassed!

Buy it and then lease it. Again, you need to have the capital. A few months ago farm land near me sold for $30k and acre.
