Even more ridiculous than bailing out the U.S. automakers. Citi is a MULTINATIONAL company. There are branch offices right here in Brno, Czech Republic that employ Czechs, not Americans. Why should U.S. taxpayers bail out Citi? To save Czech jobs...

"The meeting on capitol hill with the big 3 is the most pitiful thing i have ever seen" Yeh, but it's not the real issue. The real issue--how the $700 billion bailout, which was intended to buy toxic mortgages, is being used for just about anything.

When will it turn around? Gee, I wouldn't make any predictions about **anything** until we see what happens to the "Big 3 Automakers". If even one of those companies goes under, then we may see the beginnings of a real meltdown.

What bothers me is that these hijackings only became fashionble recently. Six months ago, we rarely heard anything about pirates and ship hijackings. Now, a new hijacking occurs every week.
