I trade options because they got a lot of leverage but not on the short side with those high margin rules.It wasn't long time ago when the Cboe had 5% margin requirements on short options.May be BOX will impose better margins on short options.Can some one comment on this topic.

ISE is OK so far and I don't mind to get elecronic membership for $500 or so a month if they provide better margins for stocks and index options but they got to follow the Cboe margin rules.This is the main reason so far to back me away from ISE and if BOX is going to provide better margins I...

He can get a broker account but in most cases he is going to pay atleast $25 in commition and if you count the huge spread on this options he is right behind from the start and I guess automatic platform like TWS can get him the same fills like in the broker account.

If you want to use them you got to know something more compare to futures if not you can lose on this options hell a lot of money.I don't know if IB impose any special margin on short e-mini options beside the Span parameters.

Someone to have some more info or practice to trade futures or options on the euro bond.Mainly for options I got to used Cboe but if there is a better place for option I may look to move to Eurex.Thankfull for any info.
