Help! Does anyone know how to contact IB's Funding and Banking team in Chicago

FWIW I made two calls to IB's 877 US customer service number in the last two weeks, and all four of the reps I spoke to had very strong Indian accents. Two of them were often really hard to understand, and I lived in London for well over 20 years so I'm well used to hearing all sorts of accents...

Help! Does anyone know how to contact IB's Funding and Banking team in Chicago

Well, the deposit has just been credited, finally! I have no doubt that Def's kind intervention deserves the credit for making this happen today, or two and a half weeks after this supposedly real-time transaction was executed. Many thanks to Def for taking the time to help out, it's greatly...

Still nothing, although Def has kindly offered to help and he/she is looking into it.

Help! Does anyone know how to contact IB's Funding and Banking team in Chicago

The money did leave my Chase account, it was transferred to an IB account with Chase whose last four digits appear in my records, and I have a Chase reference number for the transaction, which I provided to IB. I agree with everything you said, this is all extremely worrying. Mind you, this is...

Help! Does anyone know how to contact IB's Funding and Banking team in Chicago

Just to clarify, before my account was transferred from IB UK to IBIE, I had the option of Bill Pay (free), ACH (free) and wire transfers ($25 fee at origin) for USD cash deposits. I never had any problems having my cash credited, ever. Following the forced move from IB UK to IBIE, thanks to...

Help! Does anyone know how to contact IB's Funding and Banking team in Chicago

I am with IBIE, and I sent a USD deposit to my IB account from my US bank two weeks ago, but the cash hasn't been credited to my IB account yet. IB's help phone numbers connect me to the utterly useless customer service center in India, whose reps are mostly clueless and keep giving me the...

Any clues about AAPL on the close?

I hear you. So is mine, and I suspect that this time around BTDers may well get crushed by an avalanche of selling. We'll see.. next week will be interesting.

Any clues about AAPL on the close?

ARK is small potato, these are large funds rotating out of tech, risk parity funds in the process of reducing leverage, CTAs etc Whether the sell-off in tech continues is entirely dependent on the outlook for inflation and long-term rates. If Powell comes out on Monday talking up some form of...

Get your sh*t together IB...you guys gotta really fix your data feed/charting.

I have a dozen charts open at the same time and about one hundred tickers in my monitor windows. Here's the thing. I checked the bandwidth used by IB's data in my PC's Network Activity Monitor and it's generally on the order of 20 Kb/s, so it shouldn't make any difference whether you have a 20...

Any clues about AAPL on the close?

There was a massive market-on-close sell order that caused the floor to fall from under the market. 1.5 million QQQs, 8K NQs, 3.5 million SPYs and 110K ES contracts were dumped between 15:59 and 16:00 ET on Friday. If real rates keep rising the tech sector's current valuations will quickly...

Yeah, I noticed as I lived in Chicago for several years, which is where their roots are, although over the years it's grown into a huge company through acquisitions and they're now headquartered in NYC I think.

For what it's worth currently and for the last few months the reset on IB's western servers has been occurring between 00:30 and 00:40 ET. I know this because I often wake up around that time and check the last half hour of trading in Tokyo on my iPad (the cash market closes at 01:00 ET)
