moving from 1 ES contract to 2 contracts

Hello, falconview... Earth to falconview... can you hear anything that others have told you? In summary, if you would like to learn about the ES, then go to the source... the CME website. Or, as an alternative, use a search engine by the name of "google" and type "futures trading for...

    tomorrow is rollover day

You clearly said, "change charts and trading platform!" - which indeed does suggest that we change our trading platform when updating the forward contract symbol. If you didn't mean that, I suppose you would have said, "change the active contract symbol." There are newcomers to this forum...

    tomorrow is rollover day

I'm perfectly happy with my trading platform, which I've been using for five (5) or so years now. Why do you feel it's necessary to suggest we change our trading platform during rollover?

    MAX. Contract size on ES

Thank you, jeb9999 for pointing out the oversight.

    MAX. Contract size on ES

It demonstrated the vagueness and ambiguity of the proposed question.

    MAX. Contract size on ES

You ask for real answers, yet you fail to ask a concise and specific question. Have you studied basic economics, and can you elaborate on the theory of supply and demand? If so, then you'd understand that market liquidity varies from moment to moment, and that order depth (and bid/ask data)...

Been there, done that... when appropriate. QM trades YM trades This isn't new to me, and I wasn't born yesterday.

+ $450 today, again with roughly five minutes of total market exposure. Account analysis here This actually becomes quite boring after a while.

    QuickFix and Genesis Securities

With all due respect (I know I am rough around the edges when communicating)... All I see is everyone guessing as to what the problem is. Do a little more homework, and get to the heart of the matter. Run a tcpdump (packet capture) software on your machine, and capture the full TCP...

The one thing I never understood...

Very well said, and that statement espouses my personal trading philosophy as well. I use range bars in both my manual and automated trading, to consolidate the time component into a range - thus priming it for multivariate analysis.

    Trader P/L 2008

What a nice morning... $1,300 with only five (5) minutes of exposure to the market. Trade analysis here As a general rule, I like closing out my trades the same day they're executed, to minimize market risk.

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

I'm not sure which of us you're asking... several of us mentioned trust/corp/LLC. As far as the response I laid out, a US judge has no jurisdiction over foreign assets that are not owned by you. Likewise, if your car lease is paid for by a foreign corporation, as part of the job perks they...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

My advice... 1) Seek the advice of an attorney who specializes in family law and divorce, with some estate planning thrown in. 2) Have a pre-nuptial agreement drafted, and have your fiance go to an attorney of her choosing to review it. Offering to pay for her attorney is fine. 3)...

WTF is going on in the ER2????

As long as your idea of "crack" isn't plumber's butt... By the way, there was substance to my post - I strongly believe it will attempt an upward rally before giving up the ghost and collapsing further. I'd go long and get ready to switch short as soon as the tide turns.
