If you sell a put and VIX goes through the roof, why does that make u blow up? because of margin requirements? As long as you don't close the position, won't you just be negative the amount you got assigned for?

I want to at least observe the bund move but have no idea when the best time would be. I live the USA by the way. Should I be observing it 2-4:00AM? What about 5-7? Was thinking maybe I can watch 5-7AM and then trade the US treasuries after but I care more about when its active.

So far this is what I gather: AMP is a broker that also offers a data feed (cqg?). Next you need to configure a front end (sierra charts) to connect to the data feed. What I don't understand is who do I send the orders to? when I make a trade on sierra charts, does the order get routed to AMP...
