If it was so stabilized that you could make money on short straddles, then the IV would drop cause the premium to drop, so then you wouldn't be able to raise a family selling short straddles.

Yes its possible to fall below 126.48 without ending the bull market. (But once its broken that theres a good chance it'll break the bigger trend.) Heres what Im looking at, notice the strong trend line coming out of 2009 bottom. Hitting that would make it a third bottom.

If you look at the retracement volume then we haven't completed the retracement after the third leg. The other two retracements had HUGE volume, and the one you claim to be the third had barely anything, all it was was the stall on top, like the japan thing.

For the volatility to return there needs to be a big down move, not up.

A triangle pattern would be really great right now, like the one after the first greek haircut.
