FYI, NCompass is ready. The ex market makers that currently use it like it a lot. It doesn't have all the functionaliy that Thinkpipes (formerly ThinkOrSwim) has yet but I think it has already most of the functionality that professional traders need.

I took my 3 couple months ago... it's a pretty easy test... studied two days for it with the STC prep material. Also, previous posters are right... you can take it without being sponsored but you need to hang it somewhere.

The J-Trader web and standalone are about the same and both are Java. There should be virtually no difference and yes i've been on both. Right now I'm on X_Trader however, having quite heavy lag in the depth of market. Need yet to figure out where the issues are. I like the overall handling...
