A new entity can internally elect M2M accounting. But as an individual who has already filed taxes, you have to fill out the IRS change of accounting form since you are a pre-existing entity using, most probably, cash accounting. Or so I've been led to understand.

I'll agree with the post in a limited sense. You need simulated papertrading in order to determine that your strategy and edge is truly workable. All starting out traders will bounce between strategies and nifty indicators like wide-eyed children following the bright, bouncing bauble...

YM had three drags on their tailwind. 1) AA posted earnings #. Typical buy rumor, sell news. Nothing new. 2) SBC & AT&T were downgraded to sell.

Now, I've done a cursory inspection into EWT and personally found it wanting. I think maybe his basic theory on creating a basic structure of price movement that incorporates the market participants psychology is sound, but only in the most basic sense and certainly not realistically tradeable...

So? Get rich, ride the trend and when it drops, ride it down. You're an indie trader. A mercenary. You don't care who wins, you don't have an opinion on who's right or wrong. You only care about who's the strongest at any given moment so that you can ride along and reap the benefits...

Hell, front running happens on the floor. They see a big house coming down on the floor with an order and then they'll start buying in order to sell to the commercial. Sound strategy.
