These have gotten alot more liquid over the last couple years but will still give you some nasty stop outs overnight if someone decides to sell a 10 lot at the market.

The only way I could see the $10 as "more risky" is that you have a very high probability of losing everything you paid for the option as it will likely get nowhere near the money.

yea, I just think with the amount of market participants trading the grains relative to those trading ES for example, and the likelihood of leaks with respect to these reports, not everything can be priced in in the grains. The fact that grain prices are a reflection of very localized...

I could see someone arguing that everything is already priced into the Equities markets, but the grains are just not that efficient, in my opinion.

I"m not sure I know or have access to how to look this up. What is the widest the nearby crude spread has traded historically? I see we are out to about 3.30 this morning on the H/J. I'm sure it's been wider than this, but for context, I would be curious what others have seen over the years.

The beans contract is twice the size of the corn, both 5k bushels. I have a hard time believing the beans are showing smaller ranges than the corn over any extended period of time.

Does anyone know if OEC has inter commodity autospreading capabilities yet? Corn/beans, KW/ZW, etc? If not, what platforms aside from TT do? Thanks

I think it's a valid question, even for a real player, but probably a terrible place to seek guidance. How does OP not have peers or know of anyone trading equal size in stocks? Unless he's being honest, really trading hundred lots but trading a trust acct to which he recently gained access...
