I have asked the guy and he has given Van Tharps book as a short reply. Being the lazy guy I am I was looking for a summary rather than learning the important stuff for myself properly.

IB is the best option for traders.

Currently using Telstra Cable. Optus is a better option but unfortunatley I cannot get it connected in my area. Melbourne is a beatiful city too. Ive been trading the US markets for 10 months but did plenty of reading and research before diving in the deep end.

The hours are pretty tough, although I must say I am more of a midnight owl than an early riser so it suits me fine. m22au had the Sydney trading hours nailed. The internet is OK here speed wise but yes there are limits on downloads so the cost can rise. Thing is I dont have anything else...
