    Market correction imminent?

I think this is a top, and here are my simple reasons. First, very few stocks are moving higher on earnings. The new DOW high of last week basically came from Apple announcing their next iPhone. Second, volatility is just way to low, and the market is having trouble grinding higher. I feel...

Why so difficult for former stars to shine in this 8-year bull market?

Harder for hedge fund managers to hide positions with the transparency rules of today. Also hedge funds can under perform in bull markets due to losses in short positions.

Hindsight is 20/20. I don't think you can just eliminate some bad trades and make them a winner. Its a process.

Where can I trade VIX VX VXT

As an alternative, you could trade XIV/VXX which are ultra (3X) ETFs (actually may be an ETN, but who cares). Even with a small amount of leverage, you get a lot of kick with excellent liquidity. Best part these are traded with any stock broker.

Are Any EliteTrader Users In A Prop Firm? What Are Your Returns Like?

No, 100%: 10 x 10% = 100%. If you are prop trading with leverage, conservation of capital is everything. I get paranoid if I go down 3% in a month.

If you lose 40k on 400k, you are done! Been there before, but no longer.

Are Any EliteTrader Users In A Prop Firm? What Are Your Returns Like?

I guess, but really its the returns on your capital account (real money) that counts. It gets to be an issue if you are filling out a due diligence form where they want to see you daily returns. You have to use the nominal account size, and this can be hard to figure, especially if you leverage...

Are Any EliteTrader Users In A Prop Firm? What Are Your Returns Like?

I started last year with 40k in my capital account, and my 2016 K-1 showed just over $95k profit, so I guess I made just over 200%. Doesn't feel like that much because I look at my trading based on monthly gains and losses.
