If you want only to beat inflation, build a diversified portfolio of hard assets. Buy precious metals, agricultural commodities and real estate. With the portion that you keep in cash, hold the USD, euro and yen rather than 100% USD. Don't trade the markets. Be smart, you don't need that.

Yes, but the mini contracts trade with much lower volume.

Yes, this is because humans see patterns where there is not necessarily a pattern. The computer doesn't have this problem.

I don't like the guy, but in his defense, its not him who teaches the trading course. As quoted from the website: "Robert Kiyosaki does not participate in this event".

Almost half the people who answered the poll said they trade index futures. I should have separated that into stock indexes, commodity indexes, etc.
