I am an outdoor girl who loves to spend her time skiing, climbing, backpacking and blogging about her experiences as much as possible. I often describe myself as an enthusiastic outdoorswoman who is ‘learning to be more extreme.’ I have backpacked the John Muir Trail, ice climbed in the North Cascades and skied throughout the Pacific Northwest. I don’t claim to be an expert on all things outdoors but has spent countless nights under the stars and in the backcountry. Through my blog, I hope to share my experiences and knowledge to inspire others to get outside through the journey of becoming an outdoor specialist. I also have a passion for food. So, it is obvious that food and food recipes will take a big part in my writings. I love to share camping food ideas and recipes with my readers.
